  2. 1.- Students in Great Britain start their Primary Studies when they are 5 years old, and they finish them when they are 11. In that moment, they start Secondary Education
2.- English students take the GCSE (General Certificate of Secondary Education) when they are 16.
3.- A lot of people continue school after the GCSE- 70% average
4.- Only a 20% of students go onto other kind of education (such as apprenticeship or training) instead of going to university.
5.- There are a lot of British subjects- Food Technology, design and technology, science, French, Spanish, Italian, History, Geography, Religion (not only Christianity, also Islam, Judaism, Hinduism...), Engllish Literature, Art....

There are a lot of differences between our Educational System and the English one. For example, we start Primary Education at the age of 6. When we finish our Secondary Studies we don´t take any exam (yet). We wait until the age of 18 to take "Selectividad" which is the Spanish word for A Levels.

  3. 1- British students go to Primary school between the ages of 5 and 11. They then start Secondary Education.

2- Students take their GCSEs, or General Certificate of Secondary Education, at age 16. They take 8 or more exams depending on the subjects they choose.

3- After the GCSEs, the majority of people (a 70%) continue their studies.

4- There's a low percentage of people who choose to go onto other kinds of education, only an average of 20%.

5- British students have many subjects: History, Geography, Art, Religion (they study many kinds of religions apart from Christianity), Food Technology, English Literature, French, Italian, Spanish, Maths, Information Technology, Design and Technology, Science, etc.

Our educational system differs a lot with the British one. For instance, there are about 27 students in a Primary school class, and there are about 22 of them in a Secondary school class. Furthermore, many of their subjects are not included in our system. In my opinion, Food Technology and Design and Technology are interesting subjects that we could try to include in our classes. The only downside to this is that we'd have to build special installations for those subjects.

There are many differences between Spanish and British education systems. For example, we don’t have a specific place to buy our lunch, like beans and chips in the video, we don´t have food technology class and our primary school classes are smaller than British ones. Despite these differences, I still prefer Spanish educational system although we could add food technology classes as a new subject in Spain.
