MARISSA

Marissa is our new English assitant. She is from the United States of America and she was born in Boston located in Massachusetts, a state which belongs to the north east cost of America. She decribes her city as a very cold and icy place.

Regarding to Marissa's family, she has an older brother, Jared who is a lawyer as his father, Louis. Lydia, her mother is retired. However, she used to work in a special school with children with special needs.

Although both Marissa and her brother were born in America, they are very influenced by the European culture as their father is Italian and their mother in Greek. And that's the reason why Marissa has been into so many European countries.

She studied in the Fordham University in NYC, a catholic university where she studied two different majors: communication and media and history. She graduated two springs ago. And her idea is to do a master in Holland next year as she is looking forward to visiting this country.

She is very proud of her hometown as it has some important universities such as Harward University. Boston also has a very important basket team, the Boston's celtics, Marissa's favourite team.

She loves art and museums. However, her biggest passion is travelling and the truth is that she's been to a lot of different countries in Europe and South America and she's already plannig new distinies, some of them in Asia someday. She  really likes the beach and the sun, too. The sea is one of the things she misses the most as there in Boston she lived at 5 minutes from the shore.

She loves going to concerts and she is into all kinds of music with the exception of heavy metal and American country music, which she thinks are awful.
